Sailing School website…
The Northeast Harbor Sailing School is a non-profit organization
dedicated to providing sailing instruction to the summer
and year-round residents of Mt. Desert Island, Maine. Situated
on Gilpatrick Cove in Northeast Harbor, the sailing school
shares the facilities of the Northeast Harbor Fleet and provides
a safe, enjoyable learning environment to children of all
ages.
Our program runs for eight weeks during the summer
and includes rowing, beginning and intermediate sailing,
and competitive sailing instruction. Group sailing lessons
are available to youngsters from 6–18 years of age
and to adults, as well.
Our staff is certified by US Sailing
to teach and coach sailing to children and adults. To

Junior Olympic Regatta....
The Northeast Junior Olympic Regatta will take place this summer on July 21-22 in Northeast Harbor! The event is for youth ages 8-18 in Optimists, Club 420s, Lasers, and Laser Radials.
